Arrow Electronics has partnered with Red Hat to distribute the latter’s open-source enterprise software across North America.

The partnership follows previous engagements between the two firms, such as distribution efforts for European, Middle Eastern, African and Latin American markets, Arrow said Tuesday.

Jesper Trolle, president of Arrow’s North American enterprise computing solutions business, said the firm’s cloud and internet of things market strategy “aligns well with Red Hat.”

“We are excited to expand our work with Arrow as a Red Hat distributor and as part of the Red Hat partner ecosystem,” said D. Martin, vice president of North America partner sales at Red Hat.
