BAE to Provide Army Open Source Services Under $437M Task Order; Peder Jungck Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 25, 2019 “” BAE Systems will provide data-based open source support to the U.S. Army and its Intelligence and Security Command under a $437M task order, GovCon Wire reported Oct. 16.

The company said Oct. 15 it will also use a cloud hosting platform to offer evaluation, training, policy and governance and technology implementation services to INSCOM.

The General Services Administration's Federal Systems Integration and Management Center issued the task order under the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services contract.

Peder Jungck, vice president and general manager of BAE' intelligence solutions business, said the company  aims to "deliver timely, objective, and cogent information to mission-critical programs in the face of evolving threats and the continuous increase in the volume and sources of open source data.“
