TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 3, 2019 — Perspecta’s (NYSE: PRSP) research segment, Perspecta Labs, will receive a 2019 Industry Innovator award in recognition of the technology that the company has developed for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, GovCon Wire reported Sept. 20.

The company said Sept. 18 the award is specifically for the Distributed Assured and Dynamic Configuration, or DADC; Machine-Intelligence for Advance Notification of Threats and Energy-Grid Survivable Situational Awareness, or MANTESSA; and Scalable and Holistic Energy Cyber Weapon Localization and Characterization, or SHERLOC — the tools it developed for DARPA to evade and analyze the effects of cyber attacks.
