RapidDeploy, a provider of emergency communications software, has launched a program that fosters collaboration for the development of public safety cloud technologies.
The company said Monday its Lightning Partner Program establishes an ecosystem of collaborators that focus on cloud’s use in situational awareness, law enforcement response and evidence records management.
Steven Raucher, CEO at RapidDeploy, said the program delivers long-term, open collaboration to digitally transform the public safety area, with interoperability and secure cloud integrations.
The government-tailored version of Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform will integrate with technologies developed from the partnership.
Orion Labs, GeoComm, Getac Video Solutions and Optimum Technology join RapidDeploy as the program’s four initial Lightning Partners.
