Roopangi Kadakia, former senior director of cyber risk management at Capital One, has been appointed senior vice president and chief technology officer at cybersecurity and cloud computing services firm XentIT.
Kadakia brings her leadership expertise to help expand XentIT’s portfolio and oversee growth efforts under his new role, the company said Wednesday.
Before Capital One, Kadakia assumed the roles of chief information security officer and chief cloud strategist at the Department of Veterans Affairs. She also worked at NASA and at the Department of Homeland Security’s science and technology directorate.
“We are thrilled to have a person of her knowledge and repute on our team to help expand our services capabilities and broaden our customer base,” said Tariq Alvi, founder and CEO at XentIT.
