The Department of Defense's inspector general has issued a request for information on commercial off-the-shelf software platforms designed to support an auditing process.

A FedBizOpps notice posted Sunday says the DoD IG is conducting market research to learn about technical aspects of audit management technology offerings and other data for planning purposes.

The Pentagon's Office of IG also requires support in areas such as software licensing, installation, implementation, training and security.

Interested parties can submit input though Nov. 25.
