Former AFRL Vice Commander Elena Oberg Joins Centauri Leadership

Retired U.S. Air Force Col. Elena Oberg has been appointed to serve as a senior systems engineer and program manager at technology company Centauri’s office in Dayton, Ohio.

Oberg will support work and lead teams under multiple contract efforts in her new role, Centauri said Thursday.

“She brings over two decades of diverse Air Force experience in cyber, space and intelligence, and surveillance and reconnaissance to our growing team,” said Eric Hildebrand, vice president of technical intelligence at Centauri.

The former USAF colonel led technology development efforts at the Air Force Research Laboratory during her time there as vice commander.

She also took part in multiple collaborations within Miami’s technology and defense community.
