TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 26, 2019 — ICF (Nasdaq: ICFI) booked a potential five-year, $98M recompete contract during the third quarter to assist a bureau within the Department of Health and Human Services in capacity building efforts for child welfare agencies, GovCon Wire reported Friday.
The company said Thursday it will work with the HHS Administration for Children and Families Children’s Bureau to deliver program administration and other support services to help agencies improve the well-being of young people along with their family members.
“We look forward to continuing to support them in their efforts to identify effective prevention strategies, develop best practices for building capacity around change management and implement sustainable child welfare programs,” said Jennifer Welham, an ICF senior vice president.
ICF has supported 54 jurisdictions through the Child Welfare Capacity Building Center for States over the past five years.
