Oshkosh Eyes Global Sales of Joint Light Tactical Vehicle - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Oshkosh has cited increased sales of its joint light tactical vehicle to U.S. government clients as a key contributor to its revenue of $570M in the recent quarter, Inside Defense reported Tuesday.

John Pfeifer, chief operating officer at Oshkosh, said at this year’s Global Industrial Conference in Chicago that the U.S. Army’s approval for JLTV to enter full-rate production represented material growth for the company as it seeks to supply the vehicle to NATO and other foreign allies.

He noted that he sees potential for Oshkosh to grow globally and that the company is benefiting from its increased visibility in the defense sector.

Oshkosh expects to deliver the JLTV through 2024 and its Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles by 2026. The heavy tactical vehicle program is likely to run for additional years, according to Pfeifer.
