SAIC Receives Deltek MVP Gov’t Contracting Award; Nathan Rogers Quoted

Science Applications International Corp. has been recognized for its usage of a Deltek enterprise resource planning tool after the former’s acquisition of Engility.

Deltek honored SAIC with the Most Valuable Project Government Contracting Award at the Insight 2019 event in Orlando, Fla., the company said Thursday.

The award seeks to validate companies’ efforts in increasing revenue and optimizing business processes. SAIC noted it utilized Costpoint to incorporate 16K current employees and 7K new employees into the firm’s platforms within six months.

“During the subsequent six months, we seamlessly merged both companies’ business systems with minimal disruption and fully integrated Engility onto SAIC’s Deltek systems with little impact on employees and customers,” said Nathan Rogers, senior vice president and chief information officer at SAIC.

Costpoint works to help companies manage various aspects of a project’s life cycle such as production and accounting.
