Joe Branson, a former director at Cerner’s government services division, has joined Liberty IT Solutions to serve as vice president of product strategy and partner relations, FedHealth IT reported Monday.
He will contribute his product expertise to help Liberty offer information technology services to new markets.
Branson let federal contracting efforts throughout his tenure at Cerner, having engaged in opportunities with the departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs. The executive also led activities under a $10B contract with VA.
Liberty holds federal task orders for the implementation of WellHive, a software designed to integrate multiple functions related to health care management. Branson will oversee strategy for WellHive and other offerings.
