L3Harris Technologies has secured a six-year, $93M contract to deliver high figure of merit green and white image intensifier tubes to the U.S. Air Force.

USAF will equip the tubes on night vision goggles to support HH-60 Pave Hawk systems’ combat search and rescue missions, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The company will also deliver high FOM tubes to other DoD clients as part of the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

The service branch obligated $18.7M from fiscal years 2018, 2019 and 2020 overseas contingency operations funds for the initial delivery order. Contract work is scheduled to run through Dec. 18, 2025, in Tempe, Ariz.

The Air Force plans to procure over 15K image intensifier tubes within five years.
