LexisNexis Gets DOJ Contract for Legal, Investigative Tech Platforms; Haywood Talcove Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 21, 2020 — The Department of Justice awarded LexisNexis Risk Solutions a six-year contract to provide DOJ and five component agencies access to investigative and legal data sources, GovCon Wire reported Wednesday.

The multimillion-dollar contract includes availability of the Accurint Virtual Crime Center platform for department personnel to search through public records, LexisNexis Risk Solutions said Jan 14.

“We consider it an honor to put our innovation and research to work to advance the public safety mission across the different DOJ components,” said Haywood Talcove, CEO, Government, LexisNexis Risk Solutions and LexisNexis Special Services.

The company will also support the Drug Enforcement Administration, FBI, U.S. Attorney’s Office, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, FBI and U.S. Marshals Service under the contract.
