Anomali to Implement Mitre Cybersecurity Framework into Threat Intell Suite; Hugh Njemanze Quoted

Anomali has partnered with Mitre to incorporate the latter's repository of adversary tactics and techniques into a threat intelligence platform.

Mitre's Adversarial Tactics, Techniques and Common Knowledge, or ATT&CK, framework will enable Anomali customers to capture actionable threat intelligence data and understand various cybersecurity approaches and tactics through the Lens+ offering, the company said Friday.

Anomali has also launched the Match threat detection tool that features integration capabilities with Lens+ and provides access to historical data on cyber adversaries and threats within a network.

“We've made it easier for security teams to understand threats, take action to defend against them, and removed budget-related constraints that are frequently the reason why organizations stop short of achieving their security goals,“ said Hugh Njemanze, CEO at Anomali.

Lens+ employs natural language programming methods to scan and convert unstructured data including web-based reports and news stories into threat intelligence information.

NASA has selected a Luna Innovations-built semiconductor laser for use in its Navigation Doppler LiDAR system. “To precisely measure the vehicle speed, direction, and distance, our NDL system uses both Doppler shift and laser beam travel time, which requires a highly stable single-frequency laser source,” said Farzin Amzajerdian, NDL principal investigator from NASA Langley Research Center. “The RIO laser from Luna Innovations has met NASA’s requirements for high reliability, low noise, and ultra-narrow linewidth.”
