GE Research Develops 'VERDICT' Cyber Tool Under DARPA Program - top government contractors - best government contracting event

General Electric’s technological development arm is working on a new cybersecurity tool under the Defense Advanced Research Agency’s Cyber Assured Systems Engineering program, Nextgov reported Wednesday.

A team at GE Research is developing the Verification Evidence and Resilient Design in Anticipation of Cybersecurity Threats platform designed to assess cyber threats facing critical industrial and military systems, recommend ways to address identified vulnerabilities and predict cyber attacks.

“We hope the VERDICT tool is a tool that any systems engineer, with or without deep cybersecurity expertise, can pick up and use,” Kit Siu, Abha Moitra and Michael Durling of GE Research’s project team told the publication in an email.

The GE Research team is going into the second phase of DARPA’s CASE program and working to integrate more functionality into the tool before the third phase kicks off in September.
