The platform preparations come after Northrop completed a static test of OmegA’s C300 boosters in February and concluded its investigation on an anomaly during a prior test last year.
The Northrop-NASA team is also continuing assembly work and constructing an "umbilical" launch tower to support the mobile platform.
Charlie Precourt, vice president for propulsion systems at Northrop, told NASA Spaceflight that the team is “still on track” to produce supporting hardware by fall ahead of launch operations.
He added that the original plan calls for launch activities to take place within 30 days.
Further preparations throughout that period encompass inspections, stacking, payload encapsulation, integrated checkout and the final rollout at KSC’s Launch Complex 39B.
