Titan Alpha, a joint venture between Prometheus Federal Services and Atlas Research, has been awarded a 10-year, multiple-award Veterans Health Administration contract to support an integrated healthcare transformation effort, the company announced on Monday.
“There is no more important work than supporting the VHA mission of providing exceptional care that improves the health and well-being of the nation’s Veterans,” said Greg Smallwood, president of PFS.
Titan Alpha will provide Veterans nationwide with seamless, high-quality healthcare. The company will work across three functional areas, including transformation and innovation, implementation and operations support and business-enabling services to help modernize the Veterans healthcare system.
The company will provide a variety of support services, such as program and project management, change management and improvement, data analyses, training, strategic communication and implementation, supply chain, policy and financial management.
“The Titan Alpha team is humbled and eager to be a part of the IHT effort,” concluded Smallwood.
In addition to the contract award, Atlas Research secured another VA contract to update claims processing systems in Aug. 2019. The company partnered with Amida and Prometheus Federal Services to develop a system for VA personnel to collect evidentiary materials needed to process claims for military veterans.
The proposed system is meant to help adjudicators address claims within a matter of days using medical data. Robin Portman, CEO of Atlas Research, said the company provides digital and technology offerings in efforts to help federal clients modernize agency operations and manage customer experience.
Atlas will apply human-centered design, data mapping, software design and query development services in support of the VA’s project.
