The Department of Defense has unveiled the recipients of the Nunn-Perry Award for fiscal year 2019.
The awardees have been recognized for their efforts in development and protege growth in support of the Mentor Protege program, DoD said Tuesday.
Launched in 1990, the Mentor Protege initiative seeks to help government contractors address DoD subcontract requirements and contract objectives.
“The DoD Mentor ProtÃ©gÃ© Program helps innovators grow as companies to meet the growing and shifting demands of the warfighter and the Department,“ said Shannon Jackson, deputy director at the Office of Small Business Programs.
