SAIC Defense Unit Names Josh Jackson, Gabe Camarillo to New Leadership Posts

TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 20, 2020 — Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has promoted Josh Jackson and Gabe Camarillo to senior vice president and operations manager positions within its defense systems group, GovCon Wire reported April 30.

SAIC said April 29 Jackson will lead its Navy and Marine Corps information warfare operation while Camarillo will oversee its naval sea and air systems operations.

Jackson most recently led SAIC's solutions technology group in expanding further into the private sector as well as creating new cloud, analytics, training, cyber and mission offerings. He previously held program and engineering leadership roles at Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC).

Camarillo previously served as VP of strategy at SAIC's defense systems group. Before joining the company in 2017, he spent more than seven years in national security-related leadership posts within the Department of Defense.

Both executives will report directly to group EVP and General Manager Jim Scanlon.
