ThreatQuotient has secured the Defense Information Systems Agency certification to provide a technology platform as part of a host-based security system for the Department of Defense Information Network.

DISA granted authority to operate to the ThreatQ offering for DoD customers to track, detect and address potential threats to computer systems and networks, the company said Wednesday.

Use cases supported by the platform include threat hunting, incident response and vulnerability management.

ThreatQ uses an open architecture and designed to work with analysis, orchestration, intelligence and log management tools.

“Government agencies are considered critical infrastructure and are under constant attack from hackers, political activists and foreign state-sponsored actors," said Gigi Schumm, senior vice president of worldwide sales at ThreatQuotient.

"We appreciate the opportunity to continue serving the global infrastructure that carries information for the DoD, national security and related intelligence community."
