Michael Baker International has received a subcontract from North Wind Resource Consulting to help the Federal Emergency Management Agency process requests from property owners who seek to determine whether they should buy or maintain flood insurance.
The partnership will provide MT-1 processing services as part of the agency's Risk Mapping, Assessment and Planning Program and expects to complete the work by May 2023, Michael Baker said Wednesday.
FEMA aims to reduce the impacts of flooding on public and private structures through the National Flood Insurance Program.
