Alexis Sulyma, who previously spent nearly 18 years at Northrop Grumman, has been appointed chief growth officer of health information technology provider InductiveHealth Informatics.

She will be responsible for exploring new opportunities for InductiveHealth to help government customers address public health IT requirements, the company said Monday.

Sulyman will also lead the firm's team of technologist and epidemiologists supporting disease surveillance initiatives at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In her previously capacity, she directed Northrop's health protection and promotion business. She also worked at Accenture as senior manager earlier in her career.

Atlanta-based InductiveHealth uses its technology to collect and analyze large amounts of data that would help governments understand potential risks to public health.
