George Wilson President ECS

TYSONS CORNER, VA, October 21, 2020 — ECS' parent organization ASGN Inc. (NYSE: ASGN) moved to expand intelligence data service offerings for the federal sector with its recent acquisition of Skyris, GovCon Wire reported Oct. 2.

Fredericksburg, Virginia-based Skyris holds prime spots on multiple National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency contract vehicles and offers a data-as-a-service platform designed to help government analysts collect open source intelligence, ASGN said Oct. 1.

"The demands and data requirements of the intelligence community continue to accelerate. As a result, the need for cleared remote sensing and data-science-related expertise outweighs the available workforce," said George Wilson, president of ECS and a three-time Wash100 awardee.
