TYSONS CORNER, VA, November 23, 2020 — Rick Wagner, president of Microsoft's (Nasdaq: MSFT) federal arm and a three-time Wash100 awardee, said the company will provide its Azure Government cloud platform to function as the underlying technology for U.S. Air Force Advanced Battle Management System integration efforts, GovCon Wire reported Tuesday.

He wrote in a blog post published Nov. 16 the company was selected to compete for ABMS efforts under a potential $950M indefinite-delivery/indefinitely-quantify contract to enable the Department of Defense's Joint All–Domain Command and Control concept.

"Microsoft and other ABMS partners will work side by side with the Air Force to develop, deploy and operate systems as a unified force across all domains," Wagner added.
