Carahsoft Technology will continue to market Broadcom's application development and management tools and security offerings to public sector customers under a new global cybersecurity aggregator agreement between the companies.

As Broadcom’s master government aggregator, Carahsoft will distribute infrastructure software and endpoint security products from Broadcom subsidiaries CA Technologies and Symantec to government customers through various contracting vehicles, Carahsoft said Thursday.

Agencies will be able to purchase Broadcom offerings via Carahsoft's positions on the General Services Administration's IT Schedule 70, NASA's Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V and other government acquisition vehicles.

The agreement will also allow Carahsoft to carry out technical support work for Symantec tools.

"The mass shift to remote work has dramatically expanded the threat landscape, and we stand ready to help public sector agencies secure their IT environments and maintain compliance in collaboration with Carahsoft and its reseller partners," said Roy Borden, vice president of global partners at Broadcom.

The Reston, Virginia-based information technology firm established a dedicated sales team to support Symantec products since 2004.
