Medallia has received certification under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program for the experience management company's contact center insights tool that is part of its GovCloud suite.
Medallia Speech, which is designed to analyze calls to provide accurate transcription for enhanced customer experience, was deemed compliant with FedRAMP's security standards for cloud products and services, the company said Tuesday.
The tool is compatible with 20 languages and uses a scalable speech-to-text engine for transcribing and analyzing all voice interactions.
Brian Michael, head of public sector at Medallia, said the FedRAMP accreditation will potentially grow the company's capacity to serve government customers.
Aside from the said certification, Medallia Speech has also met requirements under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
