KBR's technology solutions unit will provide supplies, transportation, maintenance and logistics work in support of a U.S. Army program under a $78.3 million contract modification.

Work is slated to run through Sept. 14, 2022, and will occur in Goose Creek, South Carolina, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The service branch aims to deliver material and equipment at any location worldwide to help U.S. regional combatant commanders respond to contingency missions through the Army Prepositioned Stock-3 Charleston Afloat program.

Army Strategic Logistics Activity-Charleston manages maintenance and land-based operations for the effort.

The service branch obligated $12 million from fiscal year 2020 operation and maintenance funds for the modification.

KBR Technology Solutions also received a $47.4 million contract modification from the Army for the same effort in 2017.
