SOS International has cleared a contractor purchasing system review conducted by the Defense Contract Management Agency.

Cheryl Kosmann, vice president for procurement at SOSi, said in a statement published Friday the agency approval validates that the company’s purchasing system met applicable state laws, federal procurement statutes as well as internal processes and policies.

A CPSR process seeks to assess how an organization complies with subcontracting policies and uses government funds.

John Avalos, chief operating officer at SOSi, said the company’s CPS plays a role in pursuing potential business opportunities for the firm.

DCMA performed the audit in compliance with various policies such as the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement subpart 244.3 and the agency’s instruction 109.
