Aura Technologies Awarded $50M Army Contract to Develop, Test AI for Military Use

Aura Technologies has secured a $49.9 million contract to develop and demonstrate artificial intelligence for multiple military applications.

The company will design, create and implement AI for use in advanced manufacturing, tactical power and operations, the Department of Defense said Friday.

The Army will assign performance locations and obligate funds per order as the contractor works to complete duties by March 11, 2026.

The service branch held an online solicitation for the contract and received a single entry.

Raleigh, North Carolina-based Aura Technologies supports defense customers in the areas of AI, intelligent microgrid technology platforms, data transmission and advanced manufacturing.
