The Department of Defense's Joint Federated Assurance Center will use Parasoft's DevSecOps tool to help DOD software teams enhance compliance, security practices and quality of work.

Parasoft said Wednesday its DevSecsOps offering is designed to implement security capabilities into DOD programs.

The tool features application programming interface and static application security testing capabilities.

The company's SAST capability also supports remediation processes of defect and security vulnerability by allowing software developers to conduct quality scans while writing code.

JFAC aims to promote and implement software assurance expertise and technologies into DOD procurement programs.

Parasoft is a Monrovia, California-based company that offers a suite of automated software testing tools to help organizations deliver softwares that are secure, reliable and compliant.
