Katy Kale, acting administrator with the General Services Administration (GSA), has received a Wash100 Award for the first time in her career. The Wash100 Award remains the gold standard in the government contracting (GovCon) industry to recognize the level of excellence that drives the elite leaders of the federal and government sectors.

Executive Mosaic, the leading provider in connecting, promoting and branding government and GovCon executives of consequence, has selected Kale as a recipient of a 2021 Wash100 Award for her effort to drive GSA’s priorities and advance ongoing technology development, as well as bolster economic and COVID-19 relief responses.

In Jan. 2021, Kale was appointed as GSA’s acting administrator. Kale acted as the former assistant to the President for Management and Administration under President Obama and GSA’s chief of staff.

“We are really excited about the work that GSA has ahead; excited to work with our federal government partners, as well as our contractors and suppliers. I think that good things are ahead. We're excited for them,” Kale emphasized for the year ahead.
