Boeing’s Insitu subsidiary has extended its licensing agreement with intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance company Vigilance to continue deploying the latter’s ISR training system to operators worldwide.

Insitu said Wednesday the companies signed the agreement in 2019 to integrate Vigilance’s software with Insitu’s Catalina and TacitView full-motion video platforms to develop courseware unique to Insitu’s architecture.

The Vigilance tool has platform-agnostic features that can integrate with Insitu’s management and media manipulation software for ISR training activities involving mission coordinators as well as imagery analysts and other Insitu customers.

Training applications covered by the platform include ISR fundamentals, airspace deconfliction, air support operations and FMV basics.

Mark Bauman, vice president of global growth at Insitu, said the agreement is meant to help further ISR training amid current needs to transition into remote learning.

He noted that the company is looking forward to enabling end-users to leverage customized coursework through the integrated tool.

Vigilance is located in the Netherlands and offers a range of ISR systems as well as imagery analysis and training services.
