The Department of Defense has certified Endeavour to provide capital for critical commercially-developed technologies.

The company said Tuesday it is now approved to participate in the Trusted Capital initiative, which aims to confirm the safety and trustworthiness of defense technology investors.

The program reviews applicants' security risks and connection with 37 “special concern” countries such as China. DOD considers these countries threats to national security when linked to a U.S. technology investor.

“Our team views this opportunity as a challenge and responsibility to serve as a unique financial resource that small businesses can leverage in order to maximize the United States' competitive advantage,” said Chris Lay, co-founder of Endeavour.

Endeavour is also a partner of the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory, Army and Space Force Accelerator programs.
