The State Department has awarded a $58 million blanket purchase agreement to Alpha Omega Integration to help the bureau of administration modernize its information technology applications.

The company said Tuesday it will provide digital services, cloud computing and management support to help the bureau’s IT services division implement its digital transformation strategy.

The IT services division maintains approximately 100 applications, over 100 databases and websites used by the State Department’s 100,000 employees across the world. The division also develops knowledge and communications platforms, supports legacy IT systems and oversees business processes.

Alpha Omega Integration also announced the appointment of Bryan Hooker as director of client services for the State Department. 

Hooker, who has over two decades of experience delivering services to several bureaus within the department, will be responsible for customer service operations in support of the federal agency’s clients.

Vienna, Virginia-based Alpha Omega Integration is an 8(a) small business established in 2014 and provides IT and business consulting services to public sector and commercial customers. Its federal agency clients include the departments of Defense, Homeland Security and State, NASA and the Census Bureau.
