Axon and DroneSense have partnered to introduce an integrated software platform for law enforcement professionals to obtain situational awareness and manage evidence through live-stream footage from public safety unmanned aircraft systems.
The Axon Air Powered by DroneSense offering is scheduled to be available in the third quarter of 2021 and will incorporate drone program and evidence management tools from the two companies, Axon said Tuesday.
Under a partnership agreement, the Axon Evidence digital storage platform and Respond real-time operations hub will be integrated with DroneSense’s piloting, administration and operations product.
The collaboration comes less than two months after Axon teamed up with RapidSOS with the intent to provide emergency dispatchers and first responders real-time access to critical information.
