Excelicon was named among the awardees of the 8(a) STARS III Governmentwide Acquisition Contract used by the General Services Administration to procure information technology services from 8(a) small businesses.

As an 8(a) STARS III prime contractor, Excelicon will provide federal agencies with IT offerings under the multiple award, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract with a $50 billion program ceiling, the company said Tuesday.

“I am excited about this award because it will allow Excelicon to expand the technology-driven solutions we are currently providing to [Federal Emergency Management Agency] and [Department of Homeland Security] through the ‘best in class’ contract vehicle,” said Tushar Garg, CEO of Excelicon.

“This is a testament to the hard work, dedication and quality of service our employees provide to support our clients’ missions, and we look forward to continuing this work,” added Garg.

Excelicon has expaned experience in working under GSA contracts. For example, the company has leveraged its technical experiences to provide government clients with forward-thinking IT solutions for the GSA’s IT Schedule 70 contract.

The company also works on a GSA Professional Services Schedule contract and provides a full range of PSS offerings to improve federal agencies’ performance and quality, and assist customers in meeting their mission goals.
