Douglas Davis, Board member, Oshkosh Corp.

Douglas Davis, a 35-year veteran of Intel, will formally join the board of directors of Wisconsin-based specialty truck and access equipment manufacturing company Oshkosh on July 1.

His appointment to Oshkosh’s board will bring the number of its directors to 11, the company said Wednesday.

David most recently served as senior vice president of Intel’s automated driving business, where he helped the chipmaker establish a position in the self-driving vehicle technology market, and previously led the company’s internet of things group focused on computing system offerings.

He retired from Intel in 2019 and afterward joined the boards of Verra Mobility and Digital Aerolus.

“Doug’s extensive background in autonomous applications and intelligent systems will complement our innovative culture as we continue to incorporate advanced technologies in our product portfolio and position Oshkosh Corporation for future growth,” said John Pfeifer, Oshkosh president and CEO.
