The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division has awarded a potential $49.87 million contract to three companies to deploy software services and systems development support to the U.S. Navy and 10 foreign governments.

BAE Systems‘ information and electronic systems integration business, KBR‘s Centauri company and Epsilon Systems Solutions subsidiary KAB Laboratories will provide support services through July 2026 under the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

The three companies will work on software design and product enhancement, cybersecurity, interface development and sensor models modification, among others.

Distributed systems modernization will also be provided in support of the service branch and the governments of the U.K., Australia, Canada, Poland, Finland, Korea, United Arab Emirates, Italy, the Netherlands and Norway.

The DOD said the contractors will compete for individual orders for the competitive contract procured via electronic requests. The funds will be obligated upon the awarding of orders.

Work performance will occur in China Lake, San Diego and Carlsbad in California.
