The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Kessel Run unit is seeking information on interested stakeholders that could provide DevSecOps support services as it works to determine an acquisition strategy for the proposed Global Application Delivery Network contract.
Kessel Run is advancing a modernization initiative that seeks to use cloud, infrastructure as a service, platform as a service and a continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline to accelerate the deployment of new capabilities through the GADN contract, according to a request for information posted Thursday.
The AFLCMC unit is looking for vendors that could provide a hybrid cloud computing environment to support application teams and help maintain and operate legacy IaaS hardware footprint located within and outside the continental U.S., according to the draft statement of objectives.
The contractor should also establish a modernized worldwide hybrid IaaS hardware footprint, oversee the transition from legacy IaaS to Department of Defense data centers without losing capability to users and hire and retain personnel to support Kessel Run’s IaaS hybrid cloud environment requirements.
Responses are due July 20.
