Artlin Consulting, a data analytics and management consulting provider, and Sehlke Consulting, a technology-enabled automation service company, have merged to form Aeyon, a portfolio company of Enlightenment Capital.
Aeyon will leverage Sehlke’s proprietary robotic process automation software capabilities to enhance its data management offerings to federal customers in key areas such as logistics, acquisition support, business systems and financial management, the companies said Thursday.
Through the merger, Aeyon will have a combined 450 employees and will be headquartered in Northern Virginia while providing government customers with program management, data management and analytics, information technology system development and other support services.
“The name Aeyon reflects our commitment to help our customers Advance Beyond their current systems and capabilities – utilizing RPA and AI technologies combined with subject matter expertise to drive cost effective, secure digital transformation of critical national security and civilian agency missions,” said Aeyon CEO Sunny Singh.
Chad Sehlke, president of the new company, said the merger of the two businesses has been a “collaborative and thorough” process resulting in a holistic brand positioned to deliver enhanced services to combined customers.
Enlightenment Capital Vice President Robert Dowling noted that the two companies have each fostered robust, long-standing relationships with the Department of Defense, which could facilitate enterprise growth and allow for continued DOD and civilian agency partnerships.
G Squared Capital Partners served as the investment banker to Sehlke.
