Ajay Guru, former senior vice president at CO-OP Financial Services, has been appointed as partner at Guidehouse‘s financial services segment, where he will support delivery of fraud risk and compliance offerings to customers.

He will be responsible for helping lead company efforts to address business fraud challenges through its fraud technology services, Guidehouse said Tuesday.

Guru holds over two decades of professional experience in handling consulting, services,  payments and fraud cases. His background includes leadership over global fraud response programs and efforts to boost the efficiency of fraud response processes.

The executive led a fraud product group’s payments technology projects during his time at CO-OP Financial Services.

“We see an opportunity to help our clients select, implement and optimize technology to bolster their fraud programs,” said Ellen Zimiles, a Guidehouse partner who leads the financial services segment, highlighting the role of technology in ensuring that a fraud program is effective and efficient.
