Lori Knudson, a former senior vice president at Aegion, has joined federal and commercial aviation services provider AAR as vice president and chief ethics and compliance officer.
She will oversee compliance activities and report to Jessica Garascia, vice president, general counsel and secretary at AAR, the Wood Dale, Illinois-based company said Wednesday.
“We are excited to add Lori to our legal team, where she will enhance our compliance program and continue to ensure we are adhering to the highest ethical principles,” commented Garascia.
Prior to joining AAR, Knudson spent 11 years at Aegion, where she oversaw enterprise risk management and global compliance as SVP of compliance, risk and internal audit.
She notably led Aegion’s in-house counsel and negotiated deal structure, deal points and transaction documents through a $115 million strategic acquisition and a $500 million credit facility.
Knudson also holds a Compliance and Ethics Professional-International certification from the Compliance Certification Board.
