Peraton has selected Reston, Virginia for its new corporate headquarters, which is set to start operations by September 2022.

The new headquarters, designed to facilitate better customer engagement and enhance employee experience, will serve as a national and regional hub for Peraton and house major operations for three of its business units, the company said Thursday.

“As we have grown to become the nation’s leading mission capability integrator and the fourth largest privately owned company in Virginia, we have acquired employees and offices based all over the U.S.” shared Stu Shea, chairman, president and CEO of Peraton and previous Wash100 Award winner.

Following its acquisitions of Perspecta and Northrop Grumman’s information technology and mission support business earlier this year, Peraton now has over 150 offices across the country, and approximately 5,000 of its 19,000 employees are based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Shea added, “With the announcement of our new Reston headquarters, we are excited to remain in Northern Virginia, close to our customers as well as a robust and diverse talent pipeline and supported by world-class resources and infrastructure.”

The new custom-built facility at 1875 Explorer Street in Reston Town Center marks an expansion of Peraton’s footprint in region after the 2017 establishment of the company’s first headquarters in Herndon.

Peraton’s new facility will house its Mission Capability Innovation Center, along with physical and virtual working environments that feature access to Peraton Labs’ network of Research and Innovation Centers.
