Science Applications International Corp. has received a $41 million award that increases the value of its tactical network sustainment contract with the U.S. Navy to $237.5 million.

The contract modification provides for the sustainment of integrated afloat and ashore tactical networks through July 2, 2023, the Department of Defense said Thursday.

SAIC will continue performing work under its existing indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract in San Diego, California, aboard Navy ships and at defense and military installations and facilities.

Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific, the contracting activity, will obligate funds from naval budgets for other procurement, ship construction and operations and maintenance.
