Amentum has been awarded a $46 million contract modification to continue providing executive airlift maintenance support services to the U.S. Air Force.

The company will support back shop maintenance operations for aircraft assigned to the 316th Wing and 89th Wing at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, the Department of Defense said Friday.

Work will occur at the military base through Aug. 31, 2023.

The award brings the total cumulative value of the contract to $197.3 million.

Amentum inherited the contract through its acquisition of DynCorp International in 2020. DynCorp secured a $23.7 million contract in 2018 to support the maintenance of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft operated by the 89th Airlift Wing and 811th Operations Group.
