Textron to Help Evaluate Navy Electronic Warfare Tech - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Textron has secured a $48.4 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to help the U.S. Navy test the performance of integrated electronic warfare systems.

The company’s systems business will develop hardware for an EW integration test environment as part of the IDIQ award from Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, the Department of Defense said Monday.

Contract work also includes incidental maintenance and repair of simulators.

The Navy intends to obligate funds upon issuance of individual orders and expects the company to complete tasks by the end of 2026.

In late July, Texton Systems was awarded a separate $354 million contract to produce anti-tank munition systems for the U.S. Army.
