CIA’s Juliane Gallina Talks Intelligence Community Shifts, New National Security Threats & More in Video Interview

The past decade has seen significant changes in the U.S. intelligence community. Most notably, the IC has shifted away from counterterrorism — which was a major priority for decades — and pivoted toward competition with the country’s four key hard target adversaries.

Executive Mosaic spoke with Juliane Gallina, associate deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency’s Digital Innovation directorate, to learn more about what this shift means for U.S. intelligence, how the CIA is adapting and where our priorities lie now.

In Executive Mosaic’s latest video interview, Gallina, a two-time Wash100 Award winner, discussed the biggest threats facing America today, the IC’s top five emerging technology priorities, how the CIA is enabling more robust public-private partnerships without jeopardizing security and more.
