In Executive Mosaic’s latest video, we spoke with five Wash100 Award winners and key figures in the GovCon community to find out which emerging technologies will be most impactful across the federal landscape in the coming years.

Juliane Gallina, associate deputy director of digital innovation for the CIA, outlined the intelligence community’s top five tech priorities: artificial intelligence and machine learning, blockchain and cryptocurrency, biotechnology, microelectronics and next-gen communications and quantum computing.

AI/ML was also recognized as an important technology by Nazzic Keene, CEO of SAIC; Jim Brinker, president and general manager of Intel Federal; and Bruce Caswell, president and CEO of Maximus.

Keene said, “Our customers need automation, artificial intelligence and machine learning to gain insights from the literally petabytes of data being generated,” in her video interview with Executive Mosaic’s Summer Myatt

Iridium Communications CEO Matt Desch spoke about quantum and autonomous systems as both major growth areas for the company and technologies that are increasing in importance for government and industry.
