Noblis has selected Matt Salter, former vice president of business development at the science, technology and strategy services provider, to assume the chief growth officer role and join the executive council as its new member.

The first-ever Noblis CGO will oversee its growth strategy encompassing business development, capture, competitive analysis as well as marketing and branding in support of its focus on long-term initiatives, the Reston, Virginia-based company said Thursday.

“Establishing the CGO role is critical to maturing our growth engine and emphasis on long-term strategic growth of the corporation,” Noblis CEO Mile Corrigan commented. She also emphasized Salter’s strong performance within the company.

Prior to his time as a Noblis VP, Salter served as business development director for its federal civilian solutions arm supervising sales and capture management organization and various civilian agency accounts.

Beyond his business development experience, Salter has guided technical teams to drive information technology modernization in the areas of cloud technology and high-performance computing for civilian missions.

Salter has held additional positions within the company for over 14 years, beginning as a RASMAS program manager in 2008 and moving forward in various leadership roles.
