Serco Awarded Navy Contract for Antenna Restoration Project - top government contractors - best government contracting event

Serco‘s U.S. business arm has secured a potential $47.4 million contract from the U.S. Navy for the maintenance and operation of an antenna refurbishment initiative in support of the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific. 

The Defense Department said Monday work on the Satellite Communication Capability-Based In-Service Engineering Activity Antenna effort is under the firm-fixed-price award that includes a base value of $6.8 million and initial period of one-year.. 

Serco will work in Ludlow, Massachusetts and could extend its services under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through November 2027 if all options are exercised.

The Navy’s operation, maintenance and ship construction funds will be obligated as task orders are issued.

The NIWC effort will involve an overhaul of the radio frequency and mechanical units of multiple SATCOM CB-ISEA programs, according to the previous online solicitation published on SAM.gov.
